This page refers to Senior & Junior's character. For the boss battle, see Senior & Junior (Boss).

Senior & Junior, real names Samuel Callaghan and Jordan Patel respectively, are characters featured in Defend The Train who were added during the BETA stage.

They are ordinary citizens, consisting of a father-son duo: Senior, a forest hunting enthusiast who takes great pride in his ability to "hunt the unhuntable" and struggles to connect with his son following his wife's passing. Junior, a specialist in technological engineering, embarked out by hoping to find some comfort after his mother's passing.

Story

During the events of the Forest Campaign, Dubious Tasks Taken passes through forest-covered regions while transporting a group of employees to their next station. Senior, with his begrudgingly dragged along son Junior for a hunting trip for some “Father-Son Bonding", notices the trainline while traversing the vicinity of additional bounty hunters in their territory, the Hunting Grounds. After deciding that they will be his catch for the day, he attacks D.T.T. with his modified hunting RV, allowing him to utilize a variety of weapons. Junior is eventually told to join the battle with his jetpack as air support, despite the fact that he has little interest in what his father is doing.

Junior becomes the remaining member of the pair after Senior's RV is destroyed following an intense fight. In spite of his attempts, Vanessa Eleniore arrives as backup to deliver the final blow by firing at his jetpack with her revolver, sending him plummeting into the river within the valley. With the two ultimately defeated and no longer considered a threat, D.T.T. chose to not engage with them any further and to continue on with their mission.

Trivia

  • Junior chose to adopt his mother's maiden name after her passing, which is why his name differs from his father's. [1]
  • D.T.T.'s reasoning to release the duo rather than integrate them like the Bandit Queen was due to the two still being regarded as civilians, as their encounter was entirely at random. [2]
  • The duo's title, Senior and Junior, were derived from the Danish musical group Junior Senior. [3]
